02 / The survival guide
Move in eight directions or wait in place. On normal turns, every Dalek steps toward you. Plan your route so two robots meet on the same square: they become scrap, which destroys other Daleks that hit it. Keep yourself clear.
Teleport when you’re cornered, or spend a safe teleport to avoid nearby Daleks. A random teleport is a gamble. Your sonic screwdriver destroys adjacent Daleks, but your supplies are limited—make each use count.
Last Stand sends the Daleks rushing toward you continuously. Commit only when their paths favor you. Clear each level, watch for the Emperor, and survive all 10 levels to win.

GoDaleks recreates the classic Macintosh Daleks game, itself inspired by BSD UNIX Robots. It keeps that wonderfully unforgiving idea: the robots know where you are, but you know where they’re going.
This free, single-player, grid-based puzzle and strategy game is built in Go with Ebitengine and runs in your browser through WebAssembly. Prefer desktop play? Native releases are available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

It’s a modern recreation of Macintosh Daleks and the BSD Robots style of robot-chase game, with smooth movement, mouse controls, sound effects, a sonic screwdriver, and Emperor encounters.
The page fits smaller screens, but the game is designed for a keyboard and mouse. A desktop or laptop browser is recommended for access to all movement and special-action controls.
Emperors are protected while ordinary Daleks remain. Clear the regular Daleks first to make the Emperor vulnerable, then finish the level. Avoid getting caught while setting up collisions.
